The Indonesian Youth SDGs Summit 2022 was a beacon of hope, a testament to our unwavering belief that the work towards achieving the SDGs must begin now. With resilience and determination, we embraced the digital realm, livestreaming our event to unite passionate young minds from across the globe. In the face of uncertainty, our commitment to creating change remained steadfast because we understand that the future waits for no one.

We gathered to learn, discuss, and ignite action on the global challenges we face. Despite the pandemic, we believed that the pursuit of SDGs could not wait, and the time to act was now. The summit not only brought together youth leaders, experts, and activists, but it also created an opportunity for collaboration across sectors, from government representatives to business leaders.

We were proud to align this event with significant milestones for Universitas Bakrie, including the celebration of the university’s 10th anniversary of the Political Science program and the 80th anniversary of Bakrie Group. This event reflected our commitment to the SDGs and demonstrated how youth could be the driving force behind sustainability in Indonesia.
